Grant Park Music Festival
Classical music enthusiasts can celebrate the 15th anniversary of Millennium Park by attending free performances by the Grant Park Orchestra during the Grant Park Music Festival. Concerts are conducted by Carlos Kalmar and feature a variety of soloists. Performances are at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion most evenings through August 17.
Jazzin’ at the Shedd
Combine your love of music with a visit to see some of Chicago’s most beautiful sea creatures at Jazzin’ at the Shedd! This event showcases local jazz ensembles on the terrace of the Shedd Aquarium every Wednesday evening from 5:00-10:00 p.m. throughout the summer. Admission is free for Aquarium members and $19.95 for other Chicago residents.
Lincoln Square Summer Concert Series
The Lincoln Square Summer Concert Series treats listeners to a variety of genres. If you enjoy rock, blues, pop, or jazz music, you’re sure to find a new favorite band this summer. Performances take place every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. until the end of August.
North Coast Music Festival
