If the theater is your thing, then the Steppenwolf Theater, with its three stages and nearly 700 performances a year, is definitely worth checking out. From February 6 all the way through to May 11 they will be showing Russian Transport.
This comedy thriller focuses on a Russian family in Brooklyn, New York, giving a window on the experience of modern immigrants. It’s a great play in a great theater, with plenty of opportunities to see it. (There will also be an ASL-interpreted performance on April 13 and one with open captioning on April 19).
The theater is located one block north of North Avenue and close to a number of restaurants that offer pre or post show dinners.
