Voting in Chicago

If you are living around town in Chicago, then you should take part in local politics.  Local politicians affect how you are living around town in Chicago.  Have your say in what happens by casting a vote in upcoming elections.  There are a few ways that you can register to vote.

  1. Register in Person – Head over to the County Clerk’s Office in order to register to vote.  You can also register to vote at the local DMV.  If you can’t make it to either of these locations, you should be able to register to vote at one of several other state government offices, such as a military recruitment office.
  2. Mail in an application form – Request a form from the county clerk’s office.  They will send you an application to fill out.  Fill it out, sign it and send it back in.  You can also download the form from online.  This is a good option if you are out of town at the time, or are indisposed.
