See The City On A Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour

Are you looking for something different to do this weekend near the Mondial River West apartments? Then take a Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tour. Even if you have always called Chicago home, it’s still a fun way to see the city. The knowledgeable, entertaining guides will provide interesting commentary on a variety of sights and some of the stops include:

Adler Planetarium – This planetarium dates back to 1930 and it’s home to incredible astronomical artifacts, such as the oldest known sundial on the globe. It also includes three full-sized theaters where you can learn all about the planets and stars.

Willis Tower & Skydeck Chicago – Formerly known as the Sears Tower, it opened in 1973 and stands 110-stories tall. On the 103rd floor, you’ll find the Skydeck that offers incredible views of the city. If the day is clear, visitors will also take in views of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Shed Aquarium – As one of the largest aquariums in the world, it’s home to more than 32,000 aquatic animals. Exhibits include Amazon Rising, At Home on the Great Lakes, and Wild Reef.

Navy Pier – This Chicago landmark welcomes approximately nine million visitors every year. There is much to see and do including eating a delicious meal at Giordano’s, exploring The Crystal Gardens, and taking a ride on the Mystic Blue Dinner Cruise.

The Field Museum – The Field Museum is one of the world’s largest natural history museums. Founded in 1983 to display the collections of Chicago’s World Fair, it also offers several other permanent exhibitions such as Inside Ancient Egypt, Underground Adventure, and Traveling the Pacific.
